You awoke this morning to bright beams of warm sunlight blanketing your body. Deciding that today would be a great day for some gardening, you shuffle your homeschoolers off to start their history lesson and head outside with trowel in hand. You praise God for blessing you with such wonderful weather and for providing you with a humble backyard to decorate with lilies.
Before long, you're up to your knees in mud. A stranger appears at the edge of your yard.
"Hi, I'm Michael, your new neighbor!" he exclaims.
You introduce yourself and talk about the weather for a while.
"Listen, I'd really like to try to get to know you more. We're new in town and we really don't have any friends close by. Would you like to join us for dinner tonight?"
"Oh that sounds nice, Michael..." you start to reply before he cuts you off with a question.
"You know my boyfriend is professional chef, do you like Vietnamese food?"
The sound of tires squealing to a stop whirls through your mind. Boyfriend?
