Delight Driven Electives 9-12: Introduction to Sociology Sociology is the study of human behavior. Introduction to Sociology will give homeschool students a basic overview of the concepts of sociology. This course will explore the basics of sociological behavior and human interaction. Homeschoolers will attempt to answer questions about social interaction, such as why people act differently when they are alone as opposed to in a group setting. Homeschoolers will also explore how culture and upbringing affect social behavior and how it differs from one culture to the next and how geography and climate can affect social behaviors. This course will help homeschool students understand why humans act the way they do.
