Global languages 6-12: Latin 1

Latin is considered the language of a lost empire. Homeschoolers will learn where the English language originated from and experience history. There is nothing like reviving a language that was spoken by the most powerful emperors and the lowliest slaves centuries ago. This Latin course is designed to make the entry into learning Latin nice and simple for grades 6 - 12, and also to make it interesting. Latin fits well into language or classical studies, and can give students an advantage in their English work by giving them a better idea of how some of their language came to be. The course includes an e-book to bring the language of conquerors to your homeschooler today.
