Brave Homeschooler Returns from Iraq
The Union Leader has a heartwarming story about a modern-day hero returning from Iraq. Sadly, he was wounded in the call of duty. Fortunately, he was able to return home and was met with a chorus of “God Bless America” sung by his family’s local homeschool group.
‘It’s part of your duty, being an American,’ Peters said. ‘I may not agree with everything this country does, but I was born here. I’ve got to protect it.’
